Stout Etiquette

Published by breddings at 3:18 pm under stout Edit This

With cold weather finally here to stay it I thought that a nice pot of Guinness Stew would be in order. My wife was headed for the grocery store so I asked that she grab a six-pack of the good black stuff and some beef.

Upon returning she had quite a rant built up. She shook the stout in my face and said, “Can you believe that they only had this in the refrigerated section? I told the guy that that is blaspheme and that they should be ashamed! Guinness should NEVER be cold!”

I don’t know if I’d go that far. I don’t like my beer ice-cold but I do prefer it a little chillier than the room.

Not a bad idea, Jen. I’ll get one posted shortly.
